What will we try?
In this prototype, we are empowering students to take leadership roles throughout our school community. This can look a variety of ways: Breakfast program leaders, student-run charity initiatives, assembly leaders, playground leaders, morning announcement leaders. Many of these leadership roles are suggested by and driven by our young learners.
What will we keep our eye on?
We will keep an eye on increasing our student-centered culture, sensing the growing number of students who wish to participate in leadership opportunities, as well as overall increased student confidence in their work.
How will we document our results?
We will collect anecdotes of students growing as leaders and share how their empowered leadership is positively impating our school community.
