Making learning visible is the work of two of our Professional Learning Committees (PLCs) this year. Our assessment PLC is working on redesigning our semester end assessments as well as assessment practices in different subject areas. As we look at moving our final assessments out of the gymnasium and into classrooms, we will be able to use both quantitative and qualitative data to determine the effect it has on our student learners. Our School community and culture PLC is also working on making learning visible through the redesign of our front entrance and using technology to share what great things are happening in our building. We have also added a family communication email each week titled Bobcat Tracks, that works towards informing and engaging parents and families in our building.
