To maximize space and resources we have relocated our student services team (Learning Support, Guidance, Child Development Advisor, Administration, Accommodations Lab) to increase accessibility.

We combined Academic Supports by placing them in the Learning Common.

We combined Social Emotional Supports into a central Guidance/CDA area.

Administration relocated to open up more soft-spaces for students and collaborative areas within the main office.

Soft furnishings were relocated to the main entrance of the school for students on spare.

Students have been involved in the co-creating of a safe and welcoming space in our school

The Students Services Team, with support from Sherri Black, has been re-examining and clarifying our common understanding of our Continuum of Supports and Services Model to ensure appropriate processes are in place.

Our bell schedule has been imagined to create Connect/Collaboration + Academic Support Time (CAST) for the first 90 minutes of the day Monday to Thursday. As the year progresses we will develop ways use these times to target learner needs.
